Waiting to be painted out, this is a squared off A1 size so about 2-3 times larger than previous quilt drawings. It is also based on a quilt seen at the Kaffe Fassett exhibition at the Quilting Museum in York. Links to the actual quilts to come later.

A new quilt drawing frmo Gees Bend. This time the quilt was made by Annie Mae Young in 1975 and was made from corduroy. 101×66″.

This is the completed drawing from the previous post. This drawing references a quilt made by Sally Bennett Jones made in 1966, Cotton, 86×77″. My drawing focuses on the central panel of quilt blocks.

I realise I have done the 4 hour drawing but here’s another, I have a feeling there are going to be quite a few of these. Will add the reference to the quilt in the mornong but it is another Gees Bend quilt. Completed version to come later.
